Its a pretty fast work up.Its very user friendly,even for beginners who are familiar with basic stitches. I used a super fine/ worsted 1 yarn,with a 2.5mm hook and he came out 11″ from tip of hat to boot bottom. You can use any worsted 2/sport weight, worsted 3/dk weight, or worsted 4 /aran weight with ease,it will just make him bigger.
