A little bit about me:

I’m from Southern Maryland. In my 30’s I hiked cross country with my awesome guy.We settled in Baton Rouge Louisianna for 8 years.Just recently we moved back to Southern Maryland to be closer to our family. My career of choice was roofing and flooring, until my arthritis left me unable to continue in those fields. For my last 2 years in Baton Rouge I worked at Joann’s Fabrics and Crafts as a MOD(manager on duty) and their Educational Coordinator.I taught sewing, quilting, knitting, and crochet.(Luckily I had learned those skills growing up and was able to use them later in life.)It was working there that I realized my love of teaching others how to create. After moving back to Southern Maryland I became a full time crafter and designer, making unique items for unique individuals, and writing patterns.

I am enjoying life with my guy on a small farm, where we have a few pigs,a lot of chickens,a few ducks,a cat,and a dog.Being back in Maryland is great. We get to spend time with family and friends on a regular basis. It has also enabled me to begin passing the skills my Grandma and Granny taught me on to my children.
