Sea Turtle Blanket

So excited to finally get this pattern typed up.A few years ago I was wanting to make a baby blanket like this.I searched online, and while there were a few patterns available,I just wasn’t happy with them. When I make something I lean away from the blocky /thick look.I am more for smooth lines and details. So I sat down and created a pattern I liked. This is my result.I went with a more square look, and decided on a stitch that had more texture and looked more like waves to me.I give instructions within the pattern on how to make it larger or smaller to suit your needs.

I used a 6mm crochet hook and a worsted 4 /aran weight yarn. This can be made using other hook sizes and yarn weights you just have to adjust your stitch count accordingly to get the size you desire.

The pattern can be found here on my Ravelry: Or here on my Etsy:

He can be made in a worsted 4/aran weight, a worsted 3/dk weight,or a worsted 2.The one pictured is done in a thinner worsted 4 with a 4mm hook.

Skull Backpack

Hello everyone!Just finished work on the Skull Backpack pattern to match the pocket shawl that I recently released!

It uses the same skull pattern as the shawl.I made the bag a bit bigger than I had planned, but it worked out well. I love the size and the shape.

The body of the bag and flap are all one continuous piece worked up from the bottom base of the bag.

I made the straps so that you have the option to choose 1 over the shoulder or cross body strap or 2 so it can be worn on your back.

Testing Vesica Piscis for Wiggle Stick Designs

I have been given the opportunity to test a beautiful new pattern for Wiggle Stick Designs.

I am just in the first phase of blind testing (testing without photos as a guide),but it’s coming along beautifully.

I thought about using more than 2 colors, but I’m finding the combination of the cream and darker red is really making the stitches pop,and I just can’t picture any other colors doing a better job.

She has used simple stitches in the pattern, combined in a way to give it the look of a far more complicated design. This is turning out to be as very fun project. Its continuously changing as it grows, keeping me anticipating the next row.
